The European Central Bank estimates in a study that Spain will actually receive some 40,000 million transfers from the new European recovery fund, compared to the 72,000 million announced by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, the difference, 45% less than that announced by Moncloa, is based on the fact that the ECB considers that it is necessary to provide net figures to assess the true scope of European aid in the worst hit countries.
