  When the epidemic was severe, physical stores were closed or restricted, and "foodies" focused their attention on the bagged snail powder, which was sold on the Internet.

Due to insufficient production capacity and unavailability of goods, the online store once refunded more than 15 million yuan within one month, and the customer service had to explain the reasons one by one."   At the same time, Liuzhou snail powder's "trip to sea" has accelerated.

In the first half of this year, the export volume of snail powder in Liuzhou increased significantly, and the total value of snail powder exported through customs inspection was 8 times that of last year.

According to statistics, from January to July this year, Liuzhou exported 52 batches of snail powder about 15.35 million yuan.

  Liuzhou is not satisfied with the current industrial expansion and export capacity of snail noodles.

By 2022, Liuzhou plans to build the snail powder industry into a "double tens of billions" level, that is, the sales revenue of bagged snail powder will reach 10 billion yuan, and the sales income of supporting and derivative industries will achieve 10 billion yuan.

By then, the "worth" of snail noodles will be higher by several levels.

  In 2019, the output value of the whole industrial chain of snails powder exceeded 13 billion yuan, of which bagged snails powder reached 6.25 billion yuan, an increase of 40% compared with the previous year, and created over 250,000 jobs.

  The rapid development of the snail flour industry requires a large number of technical and skilled personnel, and the snail flour industry college came into being.

Contrary to the imagination of netizens, the snail powder industry college does not teach people how to make snail powder.

At present, the green food production and testing, food testing technology, equipment maintenance and management, marketing and other professional directions that the college plans to open are all courses based on the needs of industrial development and industrial enterprise transformation and upgrading.
