According to Korenev, changes in the exchange rate are determined, among other things, by the situation in the energy market.

“The decline in fuel prices affects the budget and, naturally, indirectly affects the ruble.

The situation has not yet got out of control: the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance quite accurately monitor and regulate the situation from the point of view of abrupt movements, "said Korenev.

The specialist also drew attention to the fact that a moderately low ruble price can be beneficial in terms of budget balancing.

At the opening of trading on Monday, September 21, the ruble grew against the dollar and declined against the euro.
