Ares S -

DR

Recently established in Modena, Italy, the ex-boss of Lotus has embarked on the construction of unique cars.

Never short of ideas, he has just presented a project for a supercar called Ares S.

The particularity of this car, which does not yet exist, is to use the technical basis of the Corvette C8, the latest generation of the American sports icon, which has revolutionized its lineage.

Indeed, it is the very first Corvette to adopt the engine in the central position, like a Ferrari for example.

The engine in question is a 6.2-liter V8, the power of which would be increased here to 705 hp (instead of 5.0 hp in the Corvette).

Enough to allow the Ares S to shoot 0 to 100 km / h in 2.6 seconds.

Loud, brutal, the Ares S is classic and does not give in to the temptation of hybridization or electronics in general.

Sold for around 500,000 €, it will be produced in only 24 copies, the first of which should be delivered at the end of this year.
