The work of the Emirati entrepreneur, Afra Al Ketbi, is launching her project "Artist Afra Paintings" of creativity, art and drawing, to formulate her own experience in the field of entrepreneurship, based on her passion for art, and to transform her skills from drawing to success and innovation in the business world.
The project is part of the "dealer license" issued by the Dubai Economic Department, which deals with licensing innovative commercial and start-up projects, which are managed through websites and social media.

Al Ketbi had established her project affiliated to the activity of artistic design services for publications, which includes all types of technical design services for printing or printed materials, such as designing magazine covers and pages and books, after obtaining a "dealer license".
A simple start
Al Ketbi said: “I am an Emirati artist who started my project in 2015, where the beginning was simple. It was an experience with which I express my thoughts and an outlet for me, and after that I wanted to develop my skills, and turn work on the project into passion, challenge, creativity and present the best, and from here the beginning was with Project (Artist Afra Paintings) ».
"There is nothing stopping me from achieving more, and there is no limit to what we can do," she added.
She explained that she is working within her project on designing printed materials, such as stamps, greeting cards, brochures, and other printed materials, noting that she relies on implementing designs by traditional or modern means.

Al-Ketbi pointed out that her project “@ artist.afra” is diverse, indicating that she draws cartoon characters and then prints them on paintings, or prints personal photos or what camera lenses capture to immortalize the most beautiful memories, or design wall paintings with special ideas for customers, and she emphasized her interest in the smallest details. Small before big, and always working to provide suggestions to customers, which help in making the right decision in regards to any kinds of designs.
She said, "I believe that design is not only a beautiful picture of projects, but is an integral part of the project's fundamentals."

Al-Ketbi stated that she has set her sights on a major goal, which is the permanent development of her project, noting that from here came the idea of obtaining a "dealer license", which provides support and many advantages for project owners, such as benefiting from bank offers and participating in various activities and others.
In addition, she added, a "dealer license" helps to enhance self-confidence, as well as gain the confidence of customers, pointing out that she was able to obtain the license within minutes through the license's website.

In addition, the commercial registration and licensing sector in the Dubai Economy issued 7678 “dealer licenses” from the launch of the initiative in 2017 until this September.
Females acquired the highest percentage of licenses, as they constituted about 58% of the number of licenses (4456), while males formed 42% (3222).
