<Anchor> We

will be with reporter Kwon Ae-ri again today (9th) for a friendly economy on Wednesday.

Reporter Kwon, is it correct that the service has started to deposit change money directly into my account instead of into my pocket or wallet?

<Reporter>

Yes, if you buy something with cash or gift certificates, you can get change.

The service to receive money directly into my account without receiving this in cash has begun in earnest.

There are a lot of people who don't even carry cash these days, and this happens mainly when they try to buy something with a gift certificate, but they say that it's very difficult to get several coins worth 100 won or 10 won as change.

I don’t have to carry coins, so if I put them in a drawer and put them in, I couldn’t use them as a lot of money, and they only took a place.

In fact, coin trading continues to decline.

From last weekend, a new service began at Ministop among convenience stores nationwide.

If you ever need to receive your change in cash, ask them to put it on your cash card.

The change is deposited directly into my bank account linked to that card.

It can be a credit card with a cash card function, or it can be put in the form of an app on your phone rather than a physical plastic card.

However, like Samsung Pay or Payco, you connect your card to a simple payment app and use it a lot.

You can't do this.

Individual card apps and app cards must be in the phone.

First, it starts with a trial service at Ministop, but Hyundai Department Store and E-Mart 24 will join within this year.

The Bank of Korea said that it will increase the number of places where this service can be used in the future.

It seems that there are many different services available now, but they said that there is another limit to receive deposits at once?

<Reporter> Up

to 10,000 won is possible at a time.

And there is a limit of 100,000 won per day.

First, the policy is to start with this limit and increase the amount.

There has been a similar service in the service itself, where you don't accept change in cash and credit your card.

Three years ago, in 2017, if you had a transportation card or a point card from the retailer, a service that put change into it came out.

Even now, it continues to be carried out in convenience store chains excluding Lotte affiliated retail stores and mini-stops.

However, it was not known much more than I thought because it was only possible to receive transportation cards and point cards from the retailer.

Rather, fewer people use it than the initial implementation three years ago.

So, too, a new service came out because it was a universal card, a debit card, or a credit card with a cash card function.

This time, the key will be to quickly increase the number of distributors.

It must be able to use it in most places so that it is well known so that people can use this service without forgetting.

And it's a little different from this, but are you using a service that allows individuals to transfer money between individuals by credit card?

<Reporter>

Yes, when I send a congratulatory money or urgently bought a 10,000 won card to a friend, but even if I don't have any money in my account, I would like to give it back. It is a method of paying back to the credit card company.

It is literally a credit remittance sent through a credit card company.

In the first half of last year, it was adopted when the financial authorities received an application from each financial company to launch an innovative electronic financial service.

BC Card will start the same service within this year.

Just like sending a text message, you can enter the card app, write the amount of money to send, and write the other party's phone number, and you can send money between individuals as if you would pay by credit at a store.

There is a 1% card fee, which is much cheaper than a card loan.

There is no impact on your credit rating.

There was also a point that it could be abused like a so-called card gang, so the amount is limited to 100,000 won at a time and up to 1 million won per month, so that deposits to your account are not allowed and fees are set aside.

But since last July, a monthly rent service has been added here.

Up to 1.5 million won per month, the tenant sends a link to the landlord via text message via the card app, and the landlord simply enters the account and agrees.

This can only be exchanged for tenant and landlord relationships.

It is a service that can be used only by proving that it is a real tenant-landlord relationship by paying a monthly rent contract to the credit card company.

Applying or paying a 1% fee can be done by the landlord or the tenant.

In a few days, you can get a paycheck and pay for it, but sometimes you don't have enough cash to do what you need to do on time.

You can use these new electronic financial services without blocking it with a card loan.
