«Economy»: 1774 Mercedes Benz cars recalled
The Ministry of Economy announced the launch of a safety recall campaign, including 1774 Mercedes-Benz cars of various models, in cooperation with “Gargash Enterprises” and “Emirates Cars”, the agents of Mercedes-Benz in the UAE.
The ministry explained that the recall includes 1614 (G-Class) model 463 cars, model 2019-2020, due to a defect in the differential lock unit, as well as 103 AMG GT models, 190 models 2015-2018, and 42 cars from (G-Class) model 463, and three cars (C-Class) model 205, due to the low rotation speed of the engine in the cold start, in addition to 10 cars (GLC-Class) model 253 model 2020 and two cars of (model) AMG GT) Model 290, due to a defective locking of the left rear seat backrest.
She added that the concerned customers will be contacted to inform them to bring the cars for examination, and that the repair process will be done free of charge.
