Etihad Airways has announced the resumption of passenger flights from Abu Dhabi to Shanghai, China, starting on July 27, with a weekly flight, initially, on board the "Boeing 777-300ER" aircraft designed with two-class system.

"We are delighted to announce the resumption of our flights to China with our gradual return to more destinations on our global network of destinations, to support economic and social recovery around the world," said Robin Kamark, Chief Commercial Officer of Etihad Aviation Group, Commercial Affairs.

He emphasized that the priority now is to rebuild the network of destinations to the re-opened markets, and to provide a safe and safe flying environment for guests at all stages of their journey. He explained that the resumption of flights between Abu Dhabi and Shanghai, comes to meet the great demand for business trips in the UAE and China, and other countries in the Middle East and Africa, expressing the carrier's readiness to operate the flights to more destinations in China when possible.

Etihad Airways reminded travelers on its flights to China that they are required to submit a negative test result for the new Corona virus (Covid-19) within 72 hours before the departure time from Abu Dhabi, or from the main flight airport if they are traveling through Abu Dhabi.

She explained that travelers from the Emirates to any Etihad destination, including Shanghai, can take advantage of the new home service provided by the company in cooperation with the "Mediclinic Group" for a specific fee, or visit any of the "Mediclinic" branches in Abu Dhabi , Al Ain or Dubai for inspection before traveling, pointing out that passengers traveling from other emirates to Abu Dhabi can benefit from this service to reach Abu Dhabi International Airport.
