There are not many complaints from consumers because of false and bad sales that do not disappear from the used car market. Among these, the government is struggling with whether to allow'entering a large company' in the used car sales business.

The used car trafficking industry is strongly opposed, and reporter Kim Hye-min reports.

Kim Mo is in his 50s who has been selling used cars for 30 years.

There are a lot of concerns when I hear the big company entering the already saturated market.

Since 2013, the government has designated the used car trading business as a'small and medium-sized business' and has prevented entry into large companies.

At the end of the sunset period in early last year, the used car trading industry applied for the designation of a'suitable living type' this time.

However, the Win-Win Growth Committee disagreed, saying, "The barrier to entry has a negative impact on consumer welfare."

Currently, there are more than 5,000 used car dealers nationwide.

Their market last year was 2.24 million, which led the new car market.

Although it has grown into a 22 trillion won market, consumers' complaints have grown as the distribution of false and defective products has not disappeared.

The used car trading industry insists that "only when a large company enters the market will increase the trading cost."
