  The Ministry of Finance stated that since 2011, the central government has supported poor areas in the central and western regions to improve the basic running conditions of ordinary high schools. Over the past ten years, it has accumulatively allocated 37.69 billion yuan of funds, including 24.8 billion yuan during the 13th Five-Year Plan period, accounting for 66%.
