The General Meeting of Shareholders of Saba approved this Monday the appointment of the former vice president and former minister of the Economy, Health and Public Administrations Elena Salgado as director.

The car park operator has adopted this decision at a meeting held electronically in which Joseph Zacharioudakis has also been appointed director and Adolfo Feijóo Rey has been ratified as director .

In October of last year, the train manufacturer Talgo named Salgado the new president of Motion Rail, the subsidiary that Talgo established in late 2016 to exploit rail transport activities.

However, the former vice president during the presidency of José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero had already been signed as a director of that company in July 2019.

A few weeks ago it was also revealed that the former socialist ministers José Montilla and José Blanco had been signed by Enagás for their advice.

During the Saba Meeting, the 2019 accounts were approved, a year in which the parking operator controlled by CriteriaCaixa entered 296 million last year, 33% more than in 2018, thanks to the parking lots acquired at the end of 2018 at Indigo in the United Kingdom, Germany, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
