The Central Bank reported a decrease in deposits of Russians in banks in May by 0.2%

The review said that "in general, in May the amount of funds of organizations remained virtually unchanged."

“In May, the population’s deposits decreased slightly (-0.2%), which is typical for this month: spending is higher due to holidays, and incomes are lower due to fewer working days, especially for people on piece-rate pay,” it said document.

Earlier, the head of Sberbank German Gref said that the funds of depositors in Russian banks are safe, the resources of the state are enough to fulfill their obligations.
