After weeks of concern, the horizon is brightening for tourism professionals. Whether at sea, in the countryside or in the mountains, the lifting of the 100 kilometers finally boosts reservations everywhere in France.

Following the government's announcements, and the unlocking of the 100 km, many French people were finally able to embark on their summer vacation reservations. "That's it we can say that it is gone. It is even impressive at the moment!", We are told for example at Pierre & Vacances-Center Parcs.

Camping: reservations multiplied by three since Edouard Philippe's announcements

On the reservations side, what is in great demand at the moment are the individual apartments. Particularly on the Atlantic coast and Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, which are the most popular regions. The mountain is also experiencing very strong growth, we learn at Club Med. "Our villages will reopen at the end of the month and at the beginning of July. We think that we will have all the conditions to be able to welcome our customers in the best conditions of safety", welcomed Henri Giscard D'Estaing, the CEO of the brand at the trident, this Thursday at the microphone of Europe 1.

The National Syndicate of Tourist Residences also confirms that reservations are finally arriving for campsites. Since last Thursday and the announcements of Edouard Philippe, reservations have been multiplied by three. Campsites are also considering extending the season to try to compensate for the losses since March.

As we reserve our vacation spot, we also think of transportation. Air France sees a resumption of reservations, while SNCF sees a small increase too. The three million tickets at 49 euros are sought. But there is room: the trains are filled for the moment this summer to less than 20%.

Despite the revival of activity, the entire sector is also worried. Some players are still at least 40% reservation compared to last year. A delay that cannot be made up, they say, for example, at Pierre et Vacances.
