The President instructed the government, together with the executive authorities of the regions of Russia, with the participation of PJSC Gazprom and “other interested organizations in this field of activity,” to form sources of financing activities for connecting citizens to gas distribution networks without raising their funds.

The Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to ensure the conclusion of a comprehensive agreement for the supply of gas, connection and maintenance of related equipment using the “single window” structures and multifunctional centers that allow collecting information on behalf of the applicant.

It is noted that Putin ordered the government to ensure "the gradual completion of gasification by 2024 and 2030 with the establishment of appropriate targets based on updating and approval of regional programs."

Earlier, the head of Gazprom, Alexei Miller, said that the company began design and survey work on the Power of Siberia-2 gas pipeline.
