Japan, China, South Korea, and the ASEAN = Association of Southeast Asian Nations Ministers for Economic Affairs held a video conference on the 4th, and they agreed to create guidelines for each country to resume the traffic of business people.

Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Shigehiro Tanaka, Deputy Director-General of Economy, Trade and Industry, participated in the meeting and exchanged opinions with ministers from various countries on measures to mitigate the economic impact of the new coronavirus.

As a result, we agreed to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection while resuming traffic, while at the same time developing a guideline for each country to allow business people to come and go.

The government is considering measures to prevent foreigners from entering the country as measures against the border of the new coronavirus with the aim of relaxing it to only four countries such as Thailand and Vietnam and business people. The policy is to cooperate with the national government, such as in the development of guidelines, and consider the gradual cancellation.
