The Board of Directors of Dubai Investment Company approved the election of the former UAE Ambassador to the United Kingdom Abdul Rahman Ghanem Abdul Rahman Al Mutaiwi as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, during his meeting yesterday.

The company said in a statement that the board agreed during the meeting to appoint Khaled Jassim Mohammed bin Kalban as vice chairman and chief executive officer.

The Board also approved the appointment of members of the Audit Committee.

It is reported that one of Al-Mutaiwee's previous positions was that he worked as General Manager of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In addition, Dubai Investments announced in a statement, distributing 10% cash dividends to its shareholders for the fiscal year ending on December 31, 2019. This proposal was approved by the shareholders in the twenty-fourth annual general meeting held by default on the third of June 2020.
