KKR, Cinven and Providence, three large international investment groups, have launched a takeover bid (OPA) on all the shares of MásMóvil, a company valued at 2,963.57 million euros, at a rate of 22.50 euros in cash for each security, as reported by the company on Monday to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

At this price, the offer presents a premium of around 20.2% over the price of MásMóvil securities last Friday, at 18.72 euros at the end of the session after rising 2.8% on the day.

This Monday, the interest of investment groups was confirmed with an announcement to the CNMV, with which the shares of the telecommunications company, led by the Austrian Meinrad Spenger, have soared, more than 24% in the first compasses in the morning, above 23 euros per share.

The offer for the entire share capital of MásMóvil (131,714,565 shares, with a nominal value of 0.002 euros each) is formulated on a voluntary basis exclusively in the Spanish market, the only one listed by this telephone company.
