Specialists in economic and technical sectors have identified 10 economic, social and environmental benefits to expand the "work remotely", the most prominent of which is to reduce the operating costs of companies in the long run, speed the completion of work, increase productivity, and support the practical transformation of smart digital patterns. In detail, the economist, Dr. Osama Swaidan, said that the experience of "working remotely" has many economic benefits, the most important of which is reducing the operating costs of companies in the long run, increasing employee productivity by taking advantage of the flexible working hours, and accepting different tasks compared to the traditional work situation.
He added that one of the benefits, as well, is developing the skills of employees by utilizing the available spare time and integrating them with "remote" training courses.
Suwaidan pointed to the benefits related to saving the vehicle's fuel expenses in the daily business trip, which means that these expenses will be redirected to be used in other tracks.

For his part, the economist said the general manager of «Truth Economic Consulting Company», Reza Musallam, that working remotely has many economic benefits that are considered a future transformation of business patterns, and in a way that reflects on the restructuring of large proportions in the labor market.
He added that the most prominent economic benefits, in general, are to get rid of the signs of traffic congestion and traffic flow, as the flow of traffic is positively reflected on the business sectors, in addition to a greater saving of the economic cost resulting from car accidents, with a lower chance of occurrence.
Musallam pointed to the flexibility in work systems, which allow for quick completion of work while allowing its implementation from anywhere, in addition to increasing the productivity of employees, reducing the operating cost of companies, and spending items in the employees' financial budget.
In the same context, the business administration expert, Dr. Suhail Al Bastaki, emphasized that the experience of expanding remote work imposed by the "Covid 19" pandemic proved that it is a necessary future transformation in the business sectors that can be relied upon even after the end of the pandemic.
Al-Bastaki agreed that there are economic benefits related to increasing employee productivity, providing flexibility in performing business and accepting employees for additional additional tasks, as well as allowing more and more space to develop employee skills and training, by making use of the available time from "remote work".
Al Bastaki pointed to the speedy completion of the work, while increasing the skills of employees with smart technologies that support remote work, also in line with the benefits resulting from the smooth flow of traffic, the environmental benefits resulting from reducing the number of cars, and the social benefits related to enhancing communication between the family.
