With the confidence of 60% of deputies, this new Netanyahu-Gantz government can boast broad parliamentary support. But its longevity will also depend on the cohesion of this team: subjects of discord between the two camps could emerge quickly.

The central question is about rotation in eighteen months. Will Benjamin Netanyahu accept to give up his place to Benny Gantz? The longest-serving head of government in the country's history committed to it this Sunday. But doubts exist even within Bleu-Blanc, which does not give much confidence to the Prime Minister in office.

The coalition could also face political differences. Benyamin Netanyahu insisted this Sunday on his desire to annex parts of the West Bank. Benny Gantz said nothing about it.

Questions of the rule of law and the independence of the judiciary could also find themselves at the heart of public debate, while the trial of Benjamin Netanyahu, under investigation in three corruption cases , is due to open next Sunday.
