The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi revealed that all activities in the emirate continue to be suspended until further notice, in line with the preventive measures related to Corona virus (Covid-19).

She said, in a new circular issued yesterday, that the new update of the electronic events licensing system in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi will be launched from next Sunday.

The department asked the managers of hotel establishments, event organizers, owners of tourist halls and floating restaurants to enter the system and update their account data, and update the data of the sites registered in the system for approval from the inspection department, with a commitment to use the current user name through which access to the electronic event licensing system for any Procedures required for activities licenses in the emirate.

The department called on the managers of hotel establishments, event organizers and hall owners to pay all fees for the approved and pending applications, pending the completion of the payment procedures, in the event of any requests pending the completion of the payment procedures.

She noted that the system can be accessed through the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism website or through the link for the new events system.

It is noteworthy that the department issued a circular for the first time last March to stop all activities in the emirate, and it renewed it, explaining that the tourist facilities and all their facilities will be inspected by the department inspectors to verify compliance with these instructions.

And it demanded compliance with these instructions in order to avoid the legal measures that will be taken regarding violators according to the legislation in force.
