"We are waiting for the government to fix the sanitary measures that will allow it to reopen in early June, if conditions allow," said the founder of the group, which notably owns Center Parcs. According to him, this "visibility" is the first stone which will make it possible to revive the sector by ensuring the "safety of the collaborators, but also of the customers". If Center Parcs has so far "few reservations" for this summer, it is because of this lack of visibility, he insists. "If we give it, and we guarantee the reimbursement, it will come."

Because it is there, the other workhorse of Gérard Brémond, to soften the reimbursement terms to encourage the French to book their holidays "now". To do this, he decided to set up reimbursement conditions adapted to the situation. "You can cancel even the day before at no cost, and the deposits are only one euro for Pierre et Vacances, and 10% for Center Parcs."
