Etihad Airways announced today that it has started accepting new reservations for flights beyond 16 June, as it prepares to resume its regular flights to and from Abu Dhabi, provided that this remains subject to lifting the restrictions currently imposed on. A spokesman for Etihad Airways said today that tickets will be available at flexible and refundable prices only after April 29, 2020 for travel between June 16 and August 31, 2020.

He noted that the federation is constantly reviewing the network of destinations with its keenness to closely monitor the situation and adhere to government directives in the state, governments and external regulatory bodies, noting that any resumption of trips will be announced through the company's communication channels in the event that travel restrictions are lifted.

He indicated that travelers wishing to book these trips can view the available options and the laws and procedures imposed in the destination they intend to travel to. By visiting the Etihad Airways website, pointing out that these special trips can be booked through the Etihad website, or through the mobile application, or by contacting the Etihad Airways contact center from within the Emirates, or through the local travel agent or electronic travel agency.
