The IRS said on the 27th that it has sent out 365 million households to apply for work in 2019 and child incentives in May.

The two incentives are provided to stimulate low-income earners' work motivation and to help raise their children. This is the furniture except for those who applied in advance in March.

From this day, households who have received the notice can apply through online hometax (www.hometax.go.kr) or through Sontax (mobile hometax).
From May 1, you can submit an application by using an automated telephone (☎1544-9944) or by mail or fax to the local tax office.

In particular, for older people who are having difficulty applying online, you can also ask the tax office to make an application.

If you apply after June 2, you will receive 90% of the final incentive, and the payment time will be delayed after October, so it is advantageous to apply for households eligible for payment in May.

In the previous year, the work and child incentives that were applied in May were paid in September, but the National Tax Service is planning to give incentives in August ahead of this year, considering the situation in Corona 19.

The total amount of incentives paid in August was KRW 3,800 billion, and the total amount of work and children's incentives for income in 2019, including those who applied for the half-term payment in the past, was KRW 5,21.3 billion. The government estimates that it will reach KRW 100 billion and KRW 726.2 billion for children).

Only one person can apply for and receive work and child incentives.

The income condition is for households with earned income from work, business, and religion in 2019, and the total annual income of the couple must be less than a certain standard.

For example, the upper income limit for each type of household in the work incentives is ▲ 20 million won for a single household ▲ 30 million won for a working household ▲ 36 million won for a working household.

As of June 1, 2019, the total amount of property, such as houses, land, buildings, and deposits owned by household members, must not exceed 200 million won.

Depending on the type of household, the subsidy level is 30,000 to 3 million won for work incentives and 500,000 to 700,000 won for child incentives.
