The coronavirus has put the Spanish economy in its greatest crisis since the post-war period of the Civil War. Its negative effects are going to mark a generation. But, also, they have exposed the weak points that Spain has. Solving some of the immediate problems that the pandemic has generated can also solve some of the structural bottlenecks that Spain has been dragging since the time of the Transition, in some cases, and from that of the Development Plans, in others.
