The CEO of Abu Dhabi National Hotels Company, Khaled Anib, said that the hotel and hospitality sector in various parts of the world has been subjected to a major halt due to the measures taken in various countries to preserve human life in light of the repercussions of the spread of the Corona virus globally.

Anib pointed out that the biggest focus of all hotel owners in the world today is how to deal with this unprecedented challenge in light of the great decline in occupancy levels during a short period of time.

Anib noted that paying a number of hotel workers to obtain paid or unpaid vacations is unfortunately a necessity to reduce the cost of salaries, indicating that the hotels continue to bear all the other employees ’privileges, namely residence, insurance and others, besides bearing the expenses of continuing hotels such as paying debts Interest due, building maintenance and other capital expenditures.
