The Ministry of Finance begins to return from this Friday the money of the statements with the result to be returned from the 2019 Income Campaign, which started last Wednesday with an increase of more than 40% in the preparation and delivery of drafts in the middle of the state of alarm declared by the Covid-19 health crisis .

Precisely the Treasury has considered "especially important" to keep the campaign deadlines in the current circumstances derived from the pandemic so that taxpayers can receive their returns as soon as possible, when the returns begin this Friday, two days after the start of the campaign.

In this sense, about 70% of the declarations go out to return , and those that go out to enter only begin to be paid at the end of the Campaign, in June. In addition, about 88% of the statements are made online, they recall from the Treasury.

Until 7:00 p.m. yesterday, Thursday, taxpayers filed 1.48 million returns in the almost two first days of the campaign, which is 42% more than last year, according to the latest data provided by the Tax Agency.

Of those almost 1.5 million statements, almost 9%, about 134,000, were submitted through the Tax Agency's app , with an increase of 53% compared to the same period of the campaign last year.

This increase in the declarations presented could be motivated by the current circumstances of confinement of a large part of the population, as a consequence of the state of alarm decreed by the Covid-19 crisis, and by an interest in a prompt return in the cases of the declarations. that they turn out to be repaid due to the need for liquidity due to the economic impact derived from the pandemic.

The 2019 Income and Heritage Campaign began this Wednesday for the online presentation, and will last until June 30, with improvements in the 'app' and a simplification of the identification system . The presentation by telephone service through the 'Le Llamamos' plan will begin on May 7 and face-to-face attention on May 13.

The Tax Agency expects this year's campaign to have 21.03 million returns, representing an increase of 1.6% (335,000 more), of which 17.54 million will be individual (+ 3.2%) and 3.49 million combined (-5.6%).

Of the more than 20 million declarations, 14.56 million will give the right to return , 0.5% more, for an amount of 10,686 million euros, 1.5% less, while 5.51 million will result to enter, 3.1% more, for an amount of 12,798 million, 6.7% more.
