“The volume of cash rubles withdrawn in the first half of this week decreased more than usual,” the bank reports TASS.

It is noted that "the decrease is 70% when withdrawn at the bank’s offices and 28% at ATMs."

In turn, sales to customers and issuance of deposits of US dollars decreased by 25% compared with the previous week.

Earlier, the newspaper Izvestia, citing a study by Sravni.ru, reported that the demand of Russians for financial services has changed due to the coronavirus pandemic and the weakening ruble.
