Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro posted a video clip on Facebook and Twitter for a market that I think is short of supplies due to the Corona virus, but he apologized hours later after journalists found that the market itself had sufficient stock of goods .

Bolsonaro made repeated criticism against the measures of social divergence to combat the spread of the "Kouwana" virus, warning that keeping people in their homes would harm the economy, eliminate jobs, lead to chaos and increase looting.

But recently, he has published a lot of misinformation about the global epidemic on social media.

This time, he posted a video clip on Facebook and Twitter showing a wholesale market in Belo Horizonte, which emptied its wings of food.

"Look at this scene," said the young man who filmed the clip. "This is called a shortage of supplies." He added: "To all the people who criticize the president, saying the economy is not as important as saving lives: Look at this ... Hunger is killing, too," explaining that he recorded the video clip yesterday.

However, local journalists visited the market yesterday and found it full of food with trucks arriving regularly to make new deliveries.

The video was accompanied by a leaflet criticizing the "destruction" of the quarantine measures. "These are facts that must appear to the world," it says.

But the video and the attached post were deleted from Bolsonaro's social media accounts after about three hours.

"I would like to apologize. I have not confirmed the accuracy of this report, the error is out of the question and I have enough humility to apologize," the Brazilian president later said in an interview with "Band TV".
