After the health authorities decided to withdraw a number of brands of hand sanitizers from the market, the Lulu Hypermarket Group decided to return the sums paid to anyone who returned the product to the stores.
"This problem occurred in one batch of one product, the Aloe + Vitamin E- sterilizer, and it has since been removed from our stores," Head of Marketing and Communications of Lulu Nandakumar Group told Emirates Today.
He pointed out that there are more than five other brands of hand sanitizers available in the group's stores, which are fully in line with the regulations in force in the country.
Kumar stressed that the group will "refund the money to anyone who returns this product to our stores."
