US President Donald Trump has hinted that his patience is running low due to the economic shutdown caused by quarantine measures to tackle the new Corona virus.
"We cannot allow treatment to be worse than the problem itself. At the end of the 15-day period, we will make a decision about the path we want to take," he wrote on Twitter on Sunday night.
Trump was referring to the 15-day shutdown period and the launch of a series of federal recommendations on social estrangement and other measures to tackle the Coronavirus, which expires a week after Tuesday.
State health officials and state governors facing the spread of the epidemic said they expect collective restrictions on the movement of people and the closure of most sectors of the American economy will continue for a while.
However, Trump on Monday retweeted many calls for a quick change in strategy.
Among these tweets is "15 days and after that we isolate the most vulnerable groups, and the rest of us will return to work before the end of all."
And another tweet said, "Right. 15 days, and after that we keep protecting the most vulnerable groups as necessary, and the rest of them return to work."
