Fiat Chrysler Motors has announced that it will convert one of its factories in Asia to start producing medical masks to donate to health workers working to combat an outbreak of the Corona virus.
"Starting today, Monday, we will begin converting one of our factories to produce medical masks," CEO Miac Manli said in a letter sent to the employees and seen by German news agency DPA.

"We are now working through protocols to start production within the coming weeks, and we aim to eventually produce more than a million medical masks a month for donation to health care workers and others," Manley said.

Company sources said that the masks will be manufactured in an Asian factory.
It is noteworthy that the Italian-American car manufacturer stopped production in Europe and North America due to the emerging crisis of the Corona virus.
