Emirati businessman Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Hashemi has dedicated a complete residential building to the Sharjah Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management team for the purpose of using them as a quarantine, as part of efforts to confront the emerging corona virus "Covid 19".

The Commander of Sharjah Police, Major General Saif Al Shamsi, appreciated the efforts of Emirati businessman Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Hashemi, in his cooperation with the team of emergency, crisis and disaster management in the Emirate of Sharjah to provide the best levels of attention to people living with Corona virus, praising his solidarity and cooperation with the government of Sharjah during this global crisis.


This initiative comes in support of the efforts of the emirate and the state to tackle the global virus by harnessing residential buildings for use in the purposes of sanitary isolation for cases that are discovered through medical examination procedures for people coming from outside the country, and for people who come in contact with people living with the virus.

The Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police thanked the institutions of the emirate for their awareness and educational efforts to counter the emerging virus by taking various precautionary and preventive measures to protect society members from corona, and to limit its spread.
