The work marked the project's entry into the full construction phase.
The China-Laos Railway Power Supply Project is a landmark project in response to the “Belt and Road” initiative. It was jointly invested and constructed by China Southern Power Grid Yunnan International Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Yunnan International Corporation) and Laos National Power Corporation. The line project will start from Langnam Province, Laos in the north and Vientiane, the capital of the Laos in the south, and 20 new 115 kV transmission lines and 11 transformer intervals will be built. The total length of the line is about 257.5 kilometers and the pole tower is 635.
In accordance with the requirements of China Southern Power Grid's "high-quality construction of the old railway power supply project", Yunnan International Corporation proposed "unified image management, unified resident management, unified access management" and adopted standardized management for the entire construction line. As the key process of the transmission line construction, the first foundation foundation casting has set a template for the construction technical standards and engineering safety quality of the entire line project, which is of great significance to ensure the construction quality of the project.

At present, the project site has 102 Chinese personnel and 47 old personnel. The construction materials and tools used for foundation pouring have arrived at the site as scheduled. The China-Laos Railway Power Supply Project joint venture also organized the participating units to conduct epidemic prevention and control drills, so that the project promotion and epidemic prevention and control could be achieved with “two grasps and two correctnesses”.
In the next step, Yunnan International will pay close attention to the situation of Laos epidemic prevention and control, and work with Lao National Power Company to arrange work in accordance with the epidemic changes and relevant regulations of the Chinese and Lao governments to complete the construction of infrastructure, towers, lines and electrical equipment according to schedule.
