Strata Manufacturing, which specializes in manufacturing aircraft body parts from composite materials, and is wholly owned by Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala), has announced the success of employing two of the latest MTorres automated machines (ATL), which will be used in the manufacturing of fender components for aircraft's wing wings. "Airbus 900-350A", as part of its efforts to employ advanced technologies in the manufacturing processes that were done manually.

The company, which is based in Al Ain, stated that it obtained a certificate of "approval of the first model of the product", and a certificate of "design and quality specifications" that qualify it to use "robots" in automating the processes of manufacturing internal fender components for Airbus wings.

"(Strata) is keen to employ the latest and most advanced technologies in the aviation industry sector, based on its belief in the importance of adopting advanced technologies in a sector that is witnessing great competition at the global level," said Ismail Ali Abdullah, CEO of Strata Manufacturing.

The success of the company in raising the Emiratisation rates comes through keenness to enhance the basic capabilities of the Emirati cadres working with it, and refining their expertise, so that they can play a vital role in developing the aviation industry sector. The project manager, Buraq Khalid Abdul Rahim, and the assistant supervisor of the production unit, Mira Al Shamsi, have played a pivotal role in employing “MTorres robots” and aligning them with the internal fender production line of the Airbus A350 wings.
