The Central Bank will increase the maximum transfer amount in the quick payment system

As noted in the press release, this will expand the capabilities of citizens, allowing you to make non-cash payments in SBP of goods and services in large amounts.

The corresponding change is reflected in the draft “On the Bank of Russia Payment System”.

The Central Bank recalled that transfers between individuals to SBP should be carried out by systemically important banks from October 1, 2019, and banks with a universal license from October 1, 2020.

Earlier, the Central Bank canceled the commission for banks for transfers between individuals in SBP.

The system was launched at the end of January 2019. With it, you can transfer money to each other by phone number, regardless of which bank the accounts of the sender and the recipient of funds are open.
