There was a time not so far away that traveling was a matter of a few. But civilization progressed, the differences narrowed and the price of the basic tourist package (flights and hotels) decreased to highly affordable thresholds. Spain participates in the phenomenon from two perspectives: that of foreign visitors (83.7 million in 2019, national record) and that of internal travelers or residents (61.1 million trips until the third quarter of last year, according to the INE ) .
