His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, during his tour between the exhibition stands and pavilions of companies, was welcome to exhibitors and visitors whom he exchanged with a greeting similarly. Commenting on the importance of the exhibition, its size and the number of participants, His Highness said, "The importance of (Gulfood) stems from the fact that it is concerned with human food, health and safety, and the human being is the highest creature of God Almighty and accordingly, the states and governments in general and our country in particular are aware that food security is at the heart of the state’s strategy. To protect it and take all necessary and necessary measures and precautions for this purpose, that is why I was keen, when forming my last government, to establish a Ministry of Food Security. "
