Ministry of Finance called the volume of Russia's budget deficit in January

According to RIA Novosti, with reference to these departments, the Russian budget deficit in January, according to preliminary estimates, amounted to 2% of GDP, or 159.9 billion rubles.

The volume of revenue amounted to 1.556 trillion rubles, or 7.6% of the total revenue for 2020, approved by the budget law. Expenditures amounted to 1.716 trillion rubles, or 8.8% of the annual volume of expenditures under the budget law and 8.6% of the consolidated budget list, taking into account the amendments.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about the country's financial reserves.
