Abu Dhabi Ports Company has signed a five-year agreement with the marine navigation company «MSC Cruise» specializing in the operation of international cruise lines, to give it the landing rights at the Abu Dhabi cruise terminal and Sir Bani Yas Island cruise ships.

According to a statement issued yesterday, the agreement was signed by the director of cruise business management for "Abu Dhabi Ports", Noura Rashid Al Dhaheri, and the CEO of "MSC Cruise", Gianni Honorato, at the company's headquarters in Geneva. The new agreement allows the establishment of Abu Dhabi to be a major regional center on the international cruise map, as the emirate is expected to attract more than 1.3 million tourists during the period of validity of the agreement, which also contributes to strengthening the role of the Abu Dhabi Cruise Ship Station, which has witnessed remarkable growth over the past 12 months. , With a 47% increase in the number of passengers, and 45% in the number of tourist trips it has received.

The commitment of the company, "MSC Cruise", at the beginning of the tourist season, adding 17 new flights to Mina Zayed as part of its itineraries to achieve this success.
