It is noted that during the meeting the priority tasks necessary to improve the efficiency of work in the direction of Eurasian economic integration were considered.

It is specified that priority attention was paid to eliminating the barriers to four freedoms: the movement of goods, services, capital and labor.

Concrete decisions were also taken to intensify interagency cooperation in order to advance Russia's priorities in the Eurasian Economic Union, taking into account the upcoming January 31 meeting in Alma-Ata of the intergovernmental council with the participation of Mishustin.

In October 2019, former Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, during a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, called for strengthening cooperation with neighboring countries of the CIS.
