Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Initiatives announced the launch of the “Global Programmer” initiative as the largest training project working to provide a free platform on the Internet, to train five Millions of young men and women in poor societies have poor knowledge of programming language and techniques and give them accredited certificates to do so, in a move aimed at strengthening the efforts of the UAE to combat poverty and establish a better future, especially for the youth in less fortunate societies, by empowering them cognitively and scientifically and equipping them with the necessary qualifications, to master Gh programming, which is the language of the future, which contributes to lift them out of their conditions of life difficult, and open wider horizons for them to work and contribute to innovation and construction in their communities.

The huge knowledge initiative was announced during the UAE’s participation in the activities of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, through a high-level official delegation, during the session “Reimagining the biggest challenges in the world”, which was held within the meetings of the «Global Citizen» organization at the forum.

For his part, CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, Khalfan Belhoul, stressed that “The Global Programmer Initiative will provide an integrated training platform in computer science and programming, in partnership with the largest international institutions specialized in this field, and under the supervision of accredited international experts and trainers, to ensure the design of a training program that is the best and most comprehensive.
