Willie Walsh will leave the position of CEO of International Airlines Group (IAG), a group to which airlines such as British Airways or Iberia belong, which in March will be led by the Spanish Luis Gallego.

"Willie Walsh has decided to retire and will leave his position as director and chief executive of the Group on March 26, leaving the group permanently on June 30, 2020. Luis Gallego, current CEO of Iberia, will succeed him in office ", IAG informed in a statement to the National Securities Market Commission.
