The Tokyo foreign exchange market and the yen exchange rate on the 12th showed a modest price movement in the mid-108 yen range.
The yen exchange rate at 5 pm was 1 dollar = 108.64 yen to 65 yen, which was 8 yen yen stronger than the previous day.
Compared to the previous day, the euro was weaker by 48 yen against the euro, which was 1 euro = 120.99 yen to 121.33 yen.
The euro was 1 euro = 1.1137-38 dollars against the dollar.
