Dia's shares plummeted again on Thursday on the Stock Exchange, having already fallen yesterday, just on the day on which the new titles from the capital increase of 605 million euros begin to quote.

After the opening of the session the titles of the supermarket chain collapsed more than 26%, to exchange at a price of 0.1099 euros, after closing yesterday with falls for the second consecutive day, with a decrease of 30%.

This crash follows a week, last, in which Dia's shares closed with increases of 80%, even growing more than 110% last Thursday. It is the response that the markets gave at the end of the capital increase.

Following this process, LetterOne, a company controlled by Russian investor Mikhail Fridman, has increased its participation from 69.8% to 74.82%.

The new titles, which were to start trading on Monday, December 2, will be admitted to trading from today, as agreed by the Spanish Stock Exchanges.

The capital increase was necessary to inject money into the company so that it can continue with its activity. He was on the verge of the creditors' contest but Letterone, an investment vehicle of Russian tycoon Mikhail Fridman, launched an Opa to take over Dia's capital.

That the Opa was successful was the condition to, then, proceed to the capital increase to be able to guarantee the survival of the supermarket chain.
