He explained that the occupancy rate of units and facilities in the region up to 90%, pointing out that talks are underway with two large companies to start their work in the project during the coming period.

He added that the project includes an integrated commercial area to serve business travelers and owners of private aircraft, through the private aviation building that provides the best services and conforming to the highest international standards, pointing out that the aviation sector also benefits from a wide portfolio of specialized services and facilities, including a facility to provide aircraft Refueling and catering services and aircraft maintenance centers.

He said that the private aviation facilities within the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aviation project currently accommodate more than 70% of the private jet traffic in Dubai to reach 100% in the next three years, adding that six hangars are being developed. Completed by the end of next year.

Maintenance centers

Saif explained that the aircraft maintenance centers were designed to enhance the aviation sector activities through a range of services at the Al Maktoum International Airport and Free Zone, which includes land with ready infrastructure, large industrial units and small workshops.

He added that these facilities provide aircraft parking that can accommodate all types of aircraft, as these facilities are connected to the main runway at Al Maktoum International Airport, while the maintenance, repair and renovation area is scheduled to launch light maintenance units and a helicopter maintenance center.
