The president of the Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises is keen to see the introduction of quotas for professional immigration. Recalling that the measure actually exists already.

Edouard Philippe is expected to formalize on Wednesday the measures on immigration wanted by the government and already largely controversial. The most discussed is without doubt the implementation of quotas or "quantified objectives" of "professional" immigrants in certain sectors in tension. The left is up against this proposal, but according to François Asselin, president of the Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises (CPME), it is rather good news. "What we need is people who want to work," said Wednesday morning on Europe 1 that represents a network of 150,000 companies employing three million employees.
