Bib collection for children IKEA Japan Risk of accidental button ingestion September 30 16:46

IKEA Japan, which handles furniture and household goods, announced that it will voluntarily collect over 800 sets of children's bibs that have been sold since June. The child may accidentally swallow the button on the bib.

“IKEA Japan” voluntarily collects a bib for children called “Martlow Sty” sold from June to this month, and was sold in two sets of red and blue.

Earlier this month, there were reports in the UK and Norway that a child got a button when he had a bib in his mouth.

For this reason, the company decided to cancel the sale and voluntarily collect the 822 sets sold in Japan, as the child could accidentally swallow the button and suffocate.

If you return it to the nearest store, you can refund the price or exchange it for another product.
