His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received at the Sea Palace Council yesterday a number of ministers, officials and heads of delegations participating in the World Energy Conference, which will be hosted by Abu Dhabi from 9 to 12 September 2019.
His Highness congratulated the Saudi Minister of Energy for the confidence he has placed in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, wishing him success in his new duties.
In detail, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Minister of Energy, who is participating in the 24th World Energy Conference hosted by Abu Dhabi from 9th. His Highness congratulated the Saudi Minister of Energy on the confidence that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia placed on him and wished him success in his new duties in serving his country and its prosperity. His Highness and the Saudi Minister of Energy dealt with the strong brotherly relations between the two countries and their peoples and aspects of cooperation, coordination and joint action.
The two sides reviewed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on them.
He also touched on the work of the World Energy Conference and its role in shaping the future of the energy industry in the world, and presented solutions, ideas and initiatives to meet the various challenges in this sector.
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Economy of Malaysia, received Dato 'Seri Mohammad Azmin Ali, and discussed with him the enhancement of friendly relations and cooperation between the UAE and Malaysia, and the potential of their development in various aspects, especially economic, trade and investment, to open wider horizons of cooperation and joint action. It serves the interests of both countries and reviewed a number of issues and topics of interest to both countries and exchanged views on them.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Total, received French Patrick Boyanne, accompanied by Minister of State and CEO of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and its group of companies, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber.
Sheikh Sabah and Patrick Boigny discussed the opportunities and opportunities of cooperation between Total and its UAE counterparts from specialized companies, institutions and sectors concerned with energy fields and ways of developing this vital sector to serve development, construction and prosperity in the world.
In the same context, His Highness received the delegation of Abu Dhabi Airports Company. His Highness exchanged talks with the delegation on the implementation of the existing development plans implemented by the company to upgrade air services.
