Specifically, the Galician businessman, through his investment firm Pontegadea Inmobiliaria, finalizes an agreement with Blackstone to take over this office building that is located near the White House, at number 815 of Connecticut Avenue , and that has 12 floors

For their part, sources from Pontegadea consulted by Europa Press, preferred not to comment on this operation in the United States.

The building is leased to the Baker McKenzie law firm, in addition to Cornell University, Sumitomo Corp. of America and United Airlines, among others, according to 'Expansion' on Friday citing the specialized publication 'Real Estate Alert'.

The founder of Inditex, Amancio Ortega, closed 2018 with a real estate portfolio valued at 9,767 million euros , which represents an increase of 11.5% over the previous year, grouped in its company Pontegadea Inversiones, which has a net worth of 23,493 million euros, higher than 21,006 million euros a year earlier.
