The central bank revealed yesterday that its total assets increased to reach 420 billion and 81 million dirhams in July, compared to 417 billion and 71 million dirhams at the end of last December, an increase of 3.1 billion dirhams in seven months.

The Central Bank said in a statement issued yesterday that the total assets owned by foreign currencies rose in July to 369 billion and 30 million dirhams compared to 362 billion and 55 million dirhams last December, an increase of 6.7 billion dirhams in seven months.


Cash deposits in banks rose to 426 billion dirhams from 415 billion dirhams in December, the central bank said. The bank's cash deposits rose from 823 billion dirhams in December to 861 billion dirhams in July. Up 38 billion dirhams at once.
